Capital Access

Key Features

If you require a safe but accessible place to keep your savings with a competitive rate of interest, then the Capital Access account could be just what you are looking for. The only thing we ask is that you keep at least £1,000 in the account and maintain a minimum transaction level of at least £1,000.

  • Withdrawals may be made at any time by bank transfer or cheque (not cash).
  • Minimum account balance of £1,000
  • Pay money in by cash or cheque in branch, or by standing order/direct transfer from your bank account
  • Save up to £250,000

Charities, Clubs & Associations

Key Features

Our intention to retain mutual status goes hand in hand with our determination to support local charities and organisations. Having developed strong links with such groups, we have endeavoured to design a savings account specifically tailored to suit their needs.

Help to Buy: ISA

Key Features

If you are a first-time buyer saving towards your deposit, you could benefit from a 25% savings boost from our Help to Buy: ISA and an additional 10% bonus from the Vernon.

Save an initial deposit of up to £1,200 followed by further monthly deposits of up to £200 per month. This will earn a great rate of tax free interest.

When used for the deposit on a house the Government will pay a bonus of 25% on your final balance (min £400 max £3,000). What’s more, if your mortgage is with us, we will pay an additional bonus of 10% on your final balance (min £160 max £1,000) provided you have held a Help to Buy: ISA with us for a minimum of 6 months. Both bonuses are subject to a minimum savings balance of £1,600.

Regular Saver ISA

Key Features

Our Regular Saver ISA offers tax-free interest on regular savings whilst providing easy access. Providing you meet the account conditions, we will reward you with an annual interest bonus each year! 

  • You can save for as long as you like, building your balance over time.
  • Maximum initial deposit £500.
  • Change the amount you want to save each month between £25 and £500 and even take a break once a year if necessary.
  • Pay money in by cash or cheque in branch, or by standing order/direct transfer from your bank account
  • Additional bonus for first time buyers

An account specially designed to suit under 21's. It has a competitive rate of interest with flexibility that allows you to save when you want, and provides the reassurance that you can withdraw when you need to without notice or penalty.

  • Special high interest account for young savers
  • Interest rate reduces on the entire balance if it exceeds £10,000
  • Available to account holders up to the age of 21
  • Pay money in by cash or cheque in branch, or by standing order/direct transfer from your bank account
  • Open with just £5

  • Pay money in by cash or cheque in branch, or by standing order/direct transfer from your bank account
  • Access online or in branch
