If you are in the position to be able to safely put away your money and only withdraw by giving 35 days notice, this notice account could be a good option for you.
- Minimum deposit of £1,000 is required to open the account.
- Maximum balance of £200,000 plus any interest that is added to the account.
- Pay money in by cash or cheque in branch or by standing order or online banking.
- Withdrawals can be made after 35 days notice has been given.
- Cash withdrawals are not permitted.

- This account is available to UK residents only who live within a 25-mile radius of Stockport and are 16 years and above.
- A minimum deposit of £500 is required to open the account. You can deposit by cash or cheque in branch or by standing order or online banking.
- You can open and manage the account in branch or by post. Your transactions and balance will be printed in your passbook.
- Additionally, you can keep up to date by registering for our Online Services.
- This account allows Transfers In from other Cash ISA Managers.
- You may make deposits up to the maximum Cash ISA subscription limit in a tax year. The subscription limit is set by HM Revenue & Customs.
- This is a Flexible ISA so you can withdraw funds from your account and replace them without it counting towards your annual allowance, so long as you replace the funds in the same tax year.

Fixed Rate Bond to 28th February 2022

A fixed rate savings account, designed to suit a saver who is comfortable locking away their savings for a fixed term, in return for a fixed rate of interest.
- The rate of interest is fixed until maturity.
- No withdrawals are permitted and the bond may not be closed until the maturity date.

You can also open an account by post via a branch. To open an account by post you must download and complete a Savings Account Application Form and send it to; Vernon Building Society, 19 St Petersgate, Stockport SK1 1HF along with a cheque for your initial investment.
