This webpage is designed to update our Intermediaries on key service updates and was last updated on the 28th October 2020.
Following a very busy July, August and September our "BAU" service levels are longer than usual and more than we would like them to be.
As a result we reduced the availability on new business products to allow us to focus resource on managing existing pipeline cases. We are pleased to say the focus is working and we are making significant inroads on our pipeline.
An update on current key service levels and initiatives:
We continue to focus our Intermediary Sales Team on providing an efficient front-line telephony response which is now predominantly dealing with existing applications.
Our current average key service timelines are:
- Phone and e-mail enquiries responded to within a maximum 24 hours.
- DIPs accepted/declined within 2 working days.
- For maximum efficiency, we are prioritising existing pipeline cases based upon a combination of; date received; fully ready to underwrite; and offer.
Our key focus during November will be to continue to move existing applications to offer and completion.
We are currently reviewing our new product range and expect to launch a focused new business offering in late November/early December.
