The Vernon Building Society has created a unique 2017 calendar featuring nine stunning photographs of the Stockport area by local photographers and four landscape artworks by the Society’s younger savers.

The calendar features iconic scenery such as Stockport Viaduct, Underbank, Marple Locks, Bramall Hall, Poynton Pool and the Town Hall to name just a few.

All proceeds from calendar sales will go to our Jubilee Fund which has donated over £50,000 to local charity and community groups since its launch in 2012.

The Vernon's Marketing Coordinator, Nate Harwood, said: “Our 2016 calendar raised over £1,100 for local charities. We wanted to build on the success of last year by producing an even better calendar that not only celebrates the beauty of Stockport through the lens of local photographers, but also through the creativity of our Junior Savers. We’re extremely grateful to the photographers and young artists who contributed, enabling us to really capture Stockport at its finest. Special congratulations go to Nathan Quinn, who submitted the winning Junior Saver entry ‘Bramall Hall’”

The 2017 calendar is available from any of our six local branches in Stockport, Marple, Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Reddish and Poynton for a suggested donation of £5 with all proceeds going to the Jubilee Fund.
