Key Features

The Help to Buy ISA account will no longer be available after the 30th November 2019. You can download our Q and A’s here which give a detailed insight into the account withdrawal and how this affects you.

If you are a first-time buyer saving towards your deposit, you could benefit from a 25% savings boost from our Help to Buy: ISA and an additional 10% bonus from the Vernon.

Save an initial deposit of up to £1,200 followed by further monthly deposits of up to £200 per month. This will earn a great rate of tax free interest.

When used for the deposit on a house the Government will pay a bonus of 25% on your final balance (min £400 max £3,000). What’s more, if your mortgage is with us, we will pay an additional bonus of 10% on your final balance (min £160 max £1,000) provided you have held a Help to Buy: ISA with us for a minimum of 6 months. Both bonuses are subject to a minimum savings balance of £1,600.

For more information, read our Help to Buy: ISA frequently asked questions.

For your comfort and privacy we open new accounts away from our counter and whilst we endeavour to do this on a drop-in basis, sometimes it is not possible so we would always recommend that you make an appointment at your local branch to avoid disappointment.
