Some of the Vernon gang gathered to celebrate at our new Bramhall branch building in the heart of Bramhall on September 4th, 2024. It was wonderful to see our members, colleagues, local contractors, and businesses, as well as our favourite Vernon Bear, coming together for this special occasion.
You can now find our Bramhall branch at 21a Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall, Stockport SK7 1AL. Our new building was occupied by Natwest before it closed its doors in November 2021.

Our CEO, Steve Fletcher, acknowledged our longstanding presence in Bramhall since 1985.
“Finding the perfect location allowed us to create an entirely new branch, with additional space for our employees and a private meeting room for our members. These enhancements will undoubtedly benefit everyone involved.”
Mrs. Smith, a dedicated Member, had the honour of cutting the ribbon with the assistance of Vernon Bear, making it a truly memorable event!
As with our recent branch refurbishments in Reddish, Hazel Grove, and St Petersgate in Stockport, our branch was designed by Standing Space, and work was carried out by local contractors Monks Morton Design Interiors, Flexible Office and Sharp.
Our new Bramhall building has a contemporary interior with a modern-looking but traditional counter service, two interview rooms to ensure a better experience for our Members and colleagues, and a customer seating area.
