We recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the 2024 Bramhall Duck Race. Here's a recap of what a great day we all had.
We recently had the pleasure of sponsoring Bramhall Duck Race, and what a brilliant day it was! The weather certainly came out for the event and there were plenty of fun activities for all the family!
Vernon Bear was super excited to be attending the event and lots of the Bramhall community had the chance to meet him throughout the day. He even had the exciting task of starting our very own race - The Vernon Centennial Duck Dash! He had a great time exploring the event and meeting so many people.
Taking part in the Vernon Centennial Duck Race was our very own Verona Duck. Colleagues from our Bramhall branch took on the responsibility of giving her a centenary makeover, and we must say she looked fabulous!
On top of her transformation, Verona also came 2nd in the race, which we were very proud of! Vernon Bear and the rest of the Vernon gang had a great time cheering her on throughout the race.
We loved Verona's centenary outfit with all her Vernon-themed feathers. The team decided to give her a 'roaring 20s' theme to reflect the decade in which Vernon Building Society was founded - she looked great!
