To celebrate Vernon Building Society’s 100th Birthday, we invite you to Vernon in the Park Free Family Fun Day, at Vernon Park, Stockport, in partnership with Pure Innovations. Come and join the fun!
Our centenary celebrations are carrying on all year to celebrate an incredible 100 years of the Vernon! As part of this, we're inviting you to come and celebrate with us at our free Family Fun Day at Vernon Park, hosted in collaboration with Pure Innovations. The event is free to anybody who wants to attend, so bring your loved ones and celebrate with us at our Family Fun Day – a day of entertainment for the whole family!
During our Family Fun Day, there will be activities to keep everyone entertained! Families can enjoy free face painting throughout the day, as well as a range of arts and crafts including making bears from paper plates, jewellery making with beads, and decorating ceramic bears.
There will also be an opportunity to meet our mascot, Vernon Bear, who has organised a special 'bear hunt' around the park, with prizes to be won for anyone that finds all the hidden bears around the park!
Live music will be provided by our Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Brass Band, and there will be several stall holders around the park, such as Mentell.org and Stockport Fostering as well as others with a variety of activities to take part in.
The Pure Innovations café in the park will be open as usual throughout the day for any other refreshments!

Car Parking: Car parking is available off Newbridge Lane and at Woodbank car park, off Turncroft Lane, next to the Community Centre.
